41st Anniversary
Today is our Anniversary. 41 years. Pretty amazing, huh. Actually not so amazing--I mean I can't imagine a better place to be. We consider ourselves blessed, a quiet celebration each day.
Will's art glass
Will finished the second of three stained glass windows for our family room--the "quail with cactus" turned out wonderful. The southern wall assures a constant stream of light through the art glass. He and I worked on adapting a pattern of a hummingbird for the last window. Glass is purchased and work has begun on that one.
Maybe by Christmas.

home again
Made it home safe and sound. The house in good shape, the back yard is a mini jungle. That's good--Tucson has been having good summer rains. We even followed one home.
Then the big job of unloading the RV and cleaning it all up before we store it away for the next trip. Then laundry, and putting all our stuff away, getting caught up with the mail, filling the bird feeders, cleaning the accumulated windblown debris off the back patio, trying to remember what we had going when we left in June, and then just sitting down with a cup of tea and remembering
what a nice summer it was!
The desert looks quite incredible right after a heavy rain!
