Arizona day trip

Judy, Will and I spent the whole day on a southern Arizona outting.  We packed a picnic lunch and headed south to Empire Ranch, Sonoita, Patagonia where we had our lunch and checked out the village.

Stopped at Pattons at the bird feeders and saw how the property is being improved now that Audubon is managing it.  Few artsy shops in town, exhibit at the local library, icecream at the coffee shop and then out Harshaw Road to an old ghost town and interesting cemetary that is obviously still maintained.  Lots of old mining history here.

Then out into the San Rafael Valley and the amazing grasslands there.

Big swing and road brings you through Coronado National Forest and back to Sonoita and home.  Super fun day.  The air so clear and the dky so blue.  Great last chance to spend time with Judy before she goes back to Wisconsin and we head out too.

Art Show

Today was the spring Art Show in my friend, Marj's garden back yard.  Nice show, thanks to all great friends and customers that stopped by.
Best thing was that Alice and Judy came out and sat with me and enjoyed the afternoon.  Both will be heading back to their homes very soon, until next winter.  Love having them both close as snowbirds. . .never get to see enough of them.

Lemonaid anyone!

I juiced lemons today. Lots of them. Getting to the end of the crop.  They are beginning to fall off the tree, plus the tree has already set blossom for next year's fruit.  I have a good supply of juice in the freezer.
