Stopped at Pattons at the bird feeders and saw how the property is being improved now that Audubon is managing it. Few artsy shops in town, exhibit at the local library, icecream at the coffee shop and then out Harshaw Road to an old ghost town and interesting cemetary that is obviously still maintained. Lots of old mining history here.
Then out into the San Rafael Valley and the amazing grasslands there.
Big swing and road brings you through Coronado National Forest and back to Sonoita and home. Super fun day. The air so clear and the dky so blue. Great last chance to spend time with Judy before she goes back to Wisconsin and we head out too.
