Rodeo Day!

Today was Rodeo finals of the "2025 Fiesta de la Vaqueros!!". It is the 100th anniversary of the Tucson Rodeo so was extra festive.  Kettle Korn in hand, we are ready to enjoy the bronc-riding, calf roping, barrel racing, mutton busting, bull riding day!

Day at the Sonoran Desert Museum

Went out to the Desert Museum this morning and found some (animatronic) dinosaurs!! Temporary exhibit spaced all over the Park!! Pretty fun to hear them roaring before you come up on them.

The Burrowing Owls were out! Love 'em!

Great day out.

Southern Arizona Clay Artists Tohono Chul Show

I am one of 30 Clay Artists that participated in this weekend's Spring Show and Sale at Tohono Chul Gardens today. Turned out to be a great day--great weather to bring people out to the show, free admission to the Garden during show certainly helped. Great crowds, great ceramics, great networking among potter friends!

Sibs together after much too long!

Larry and Jean stopped for a much too short visit on their little Get-Away-From-The-Cold trip to Arizona. 

We drove up Mt Lemon for a day outting and was cold and windy day up there. They did NOT come to Arizona for this!! Was much nicer down at my house! Great to hangout and catch up!!

Glass treasure

A pottery friend has a friend, who knows a guy, who works with a gal. . .. .one of those weird connections called and said they had a bunch of stained glass supplies and glass they were taking to the dump! We hopped in the jeep and met up and filled the back end. Went home and immediately layed it all out and sorted thru to see what treasures we could find. And we found a lot. Even passed a bunch of it onto another stain glass enthusist. Such a sin to throw away.  Everybody happy now!!
