Dewain and Linda Goff were so gracious to let us park our RV on their lawn. Alice and Pete Haan picked this week to come from Brandon, South Dakota for a rendezvous.


Wonderful dinner with Wei and Clair—great news, they’re pregnant! We are really happy for them.

Afternoon with Larry and Marlene Linn who happened to be in town from Fayetteville, Arkansas. What timing! Got to see Dee and kiddos. Had a piece of the twin's first birthday cake!

Midweek we moved to Wisconsin and parked at Wayne and Judy Massey’s. More catching up, more giggles, more food! Judy had made reservations for the four of us, plus Loren and Rosella Miller to go on the Magic History Segway Tour of the Minneapolis historic (Stone Arch Bridge—Nicollet Island—etc.) district. I highly recommend it. Area is interesting but riding a Segway for the first time was a riot! Later, Judy and Rosella and I took in the Pompeii exhibit at the St Paul Science Center while the guys went to a 3M reunion.

Returned to Rock Valley, Iowa for the weekend and Will’s 45th high school class reunion. Yea class of ’62! Over half of the class turned out.
